Over the last year the Federal Government has committed almost $1 billion to fund the dirty and dangerous ‘gas fired recovery’. This includes a $50 million hand out for big oil and gas corporations to fast track their fracking plans in the Beetaloo Basin, despite Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communities continually standing up and saying no.

First Nations communities across the country are already experiencing the impacts of climate change. At the same time, our communities are leading efforts to protect our land, water and future from the fossil fuel projects that are being forced upon us and fueling the climate crisis.
