WHO Everyone! Share with your family, friends, neighbours and bus drivers. Under 18’s welcome!
WHAT Introduction to Seed, climate justice, and their documentary film, followed by ways that you can take action for climate justice on the Gold Coast by remotely supporting Seed's campaign to ban fracking in the Northern Territory, and taking local action to support the Wangan & Jagalingou people to stop the Adani coal mine in Queensland. Then, a bit of crafty sign and banner painting to help make sure our impact on the Coast is COLOURFUL & VIBRANT.

We acknowledge that this event will be taking place on Kombumerri land stolen from the Yugambeh-speaking people, and pay respects to elders past, present and future.
ABOUT THE VENUE Panamuna means ‘ocean’ in modern Murri, an Aboriginal dialect. Because of our deep connection to the ocean, Panamuna is at the heart of what we do, using everything we can to protect it. We are based locally on the picturesque Tweed Coast of Australia with the Sustainable Surf Collab, a reminder of the responsibility we all share to preserve our marine environments.
ABOUT AYCC The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is Australia’s largest youth organisation, with over 2,000 young people fighting for climate justice and 20,000 supporters backing us up. We work in solidarity with Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network to raise awareness and inspire action to ban fracking, create a just transition to 100% renewable energy and solve the climate crisis.

See you there on the 24th!
